Will we be left without hot water during the switch?
No — that's the whole point of how we sequence the job. The heat pump, cylinder and new pipework go in while your caldera is still working. Only once the new system is tested and already making hot water do we disconnect the old boiler, so the gap is measured in hours, not days.

What happens to my old gas boiler?
We disconnect it safely, cap the gas line properly, take the boiler away and route it into recycling. If the flue opening is no longer needed we tidy and seal it too, so you're not left with holes and dangling pipes where the caldera used to hang.

Do I keep paying for gas after the changeover?
Only if you keep the contract. Some households hold on to gas just for a hob, but once aerotermia covers heating and hot water, the standing charges and the periodic inspections often outweigh that convenience. Can the new system use my existing radiators and pipes?
